YASMIN INFORMATIONYasmin, generically named drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol is a synthetic progestin. It is used as a prevention of ovulation. Its efficiency lies in altering cervical mucous and uterine lining. It is held that yasmin can be effective in preventing the sperm to reach to the uterus.

Yasmin is meant to prevent pregnancy.
